Changing jobs

If you’re changing jobs it's worth checking if you can take Cbus with you

We understand that changing jobs is a fact of life, that’s why we’ve made it pretty easy to take Cbus with you.

1. My new employer already pays into Cbus for other employees

If this is the case, all you need to do is give them your Cbus membership number. They’ll take care of the rest.

2. My new employer does not pay into Cbus

If your new employer is not already a Cbus employer, you may still be able to stay with Cbus. If this is the case, your employer will provide you with a Standard Choice Form within 28 days of you starting. For more information, download our Take Cbus with You brochure here.

3. I’m my own employer

If you’ve become self-employed, we’ve got your super needs covered. Click here to find out about Cbus Self-Employed Super. Or you can just continue to make contributions yourself directly into your existing Cbus account.
